The Chopped Strand Mat is used with resin to quickly build thickness for parts or in between layers of other fabrics in models. Use alone or with other Fibre Glast sheeting, tapes, rolls, mats or woven roving for larger fabrication projects. It’s best to tear apart the chopped strand mat, rather than cut it. This maintains the length of fibers along the torn edge, creating stronger bonds when fabricating in multiple layers.
